Jihad, the most
supreme rite in Islam and the most beloved deed to Allah next to belief, is
the shield which protects the nation of Islam from aggression. The West and
Israel have therefore exerted all possible efforts to distort its portrait and
to transform its activism so as to make it explode in the heart of the Islamic
World, so that its fragments would scatter in the form of disputes amongst its
states, struggles between the peoples and their rulers and fights among the
sects, the races and the groups. Consequently, Muslims will assimilate the
disunion, the division and the paralysis which the West plans to realise
amidst them. The writer was careful in his book to:
(1)
purify Jihad from whatever blemishes imperialism has been trying to
attribute to it.
(2)
solve the problems which appear to those who imagine illusively the
existence of antithesis between Jihad as a duty and the freedom of belief.
(3)
refer the activities of the Islamic groups to the restrictions and rules of
Jihad.
Hence, by way of jurisprudentially (Fiqh)
analysis, he manipulates all jurisprudentially terms relevant to Jihad, such
as: Charging with infidelity, disobeying the ruler, belligerency, wronging,
aggression, lurking, preparing, House of Islam, Imamah, contract of free
non-Muslim subjects, jizyah (tribute) and killing the apostate. It is indeed,
the book of the hour, which no solicitous reader can dispense with.
