This 4 volume book is an collection of fatwas by the five most prominent Shafi'i scholars of last century namely Al-'Allamah 'Abdallah Ibn Husayn Balfaqih, Al-'Allamah 'Abdullah Ibn 'Umar Ibn Yahya, Al-'Allamah 'Alawiy Ibn Saqqaf Al-Jifri, Al-'Allamah Muhammad Ibn Abi Bakr Al-Ashkhar and Al-'Allamah Muhammad Ibn Sulayman Al-Kurdi.
It is an extensive fatwa collection relating to contemporary issues which is very valuable in today's society. it has been verified, edited and noted so as to make the fatwas referencible for those who need researching in the issues mentioned in the book.
About The Author:
Shaykh Al-Islam, Mufti Al-Diyar, Al-Hadrami, As-Sayid 'AbdalRahman Ibn Muhammad Ibn Hussein Ibn 'Umar Al-Mash-hur, his lineage go's back to the Prophet (s.a.w). He was born in Tarim, Hadral Mowt in Yemen 1250 Hijri. Imam Mash-Hur has not left any knowledgeable person in his town, country without acquiring their knowledge. He was known for his brave actions and words when Muslim leaders were corrupt. He has memorised Al-Irshad by Ibn Muqri, Alfiyati Ibn Malik, Zubd Ibn Raslan, Al-Mahallat, Al-Bakurat and Fathul Jawad by Ibn Hajar.
He left behind loads of knowledge in his student as well as books he has written. He passed away in 17 Safr 1320 Hijri. May Allah forgive him.
01: Al-'Allamah 'Abdallah Ibn Husayn Balfaqih:
He is Al-Imam, Al-'Allamah, Al-Faqih, As-Sayid, 'Abdallah Ibn Husayn Ibn 'Abdullahi 'Alawiy. Born in Tarim, Yemen on a saturday 9th of Dhil Hijjah 1198 Hijri. He studied under various scholars including his father. He has lived in era where the top seven Shafi'i fuqaha lived of that time. He wrote allot of books mainly in fiqh issues some in tajwid, Usul. He passed away on a Wednesday 18th of Dhil Hijjah 1296. May Allah forgive him.
02: Al-'Allamah Abdullahi Ibn 'Umar Ibn Abi Bakr:
Al-Imam, Al-humam, Al-Muhaqqaq, As-Sayid, 'Abdullahi Ibn 'Umar Ibn Abi Bakr was born on a friday night 20th of jumadil Uwla 1209 Hijri. He travled all over Yemen, Zubayd and the Hijaz to acquire knowledge from the scholars of his time. He left behind erray of knowledge. He died in 1265 Hijri.
03: Al-'Allamah'Aliwiy Ibn Saqqaf Ibn Muhammad Ibn 'Aydarus:
He is Al-Imam, Al-'Allamah, Al-Faqih, 'Aliwiy Ibn Saqqaf Ibn Muhammad Ibn 'Aydarus Al-Jifri was a great scholar who left behinh even greater work. such as 'Sharh 'Umdatul Saalik 'Ala Tariqatil Muhadathin' which is an valuable work. He passed away 1273 Hijri..
04: Al-Hafidh Muhammed Ibn Abi Bakr Al-Ashkhar:
Jamalu Deen Al-Faqih, Al-'Allamah, Al-Hafidh Muhammed Ibn Abi Bakr Al-Ashkhar was born on 945 Hijri in Yemen. He studied under his father, Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami and others various sciences such as Fiqh, Hadith, Usul, Nahw and other sciences. He left behind students and work that have been well received. He wrote the 'Sharh Bahjatil Mahafil', 'Alfiyat Fi Rijal Al-hadith' and other valuable work. he passed away 991 Hijri.
05: Al-'Allamah Muhammad Ibn Sulayman Al-Kurdi:
He is Al-Imam, Al-'Allamah, Muhammad Ibn Sulayman Al-Kurdi was born on 1127 in Dimishq. He studies under the most scholars of Sham, which were allot. he has written allot of work in fiqh and hadith. He passed away in 1194 Hijri. May Allah grant him Jannah.

Without the purification of the souls, the revival will only be on the outer shell and will, in fact, be a "deceptive" revival, in the sense that the inner consciousness will not have been reformed and the lapse back to the pre-revival times may be very close at hand. Indeed, without the purifications of the souls, the very goals of the revival from the outset may be wrong.
