Kojiro Nakamura: is a Professor of Islamic Studies at Obirin University and Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo. He has authored many books on the history of Islamic thought in Japanese. "Ghazali on Invocations and Supplications" is an English translation of selection taken from Ghazali's major work, "The Revivification of Religious Sciences".
