About The Author
Prof. Masood-ul Hasan took his Master’s degree from Aligarh Muslim University and Ph D from Liverpool, UK. He taught at the AMU and retired as a Professor of English in 1988. He served as the Chairman of Department of English and Modern European Languages, AMU, and also as Dean of Faculty of Arts.
Prof Hasan’s publications are Imagery of John Donne , A Critical Study of Francis Quarles, Rare English Books in India, Nineteenth Century Books in India and Miltoniana in India. His book Sufism and English Literature – Echoes and Images is ready for publication. He has contributed numerous articles to various literary periodicals.
