About The Author
Mr Suleman Nagdi MBE DL has devoted his life to community cohesion work in his home town Leicester, UK. During the years he has served his community with extraordinary stamina and a warm heart. Amongst his many achievements is a active hand in the development of the Muslim Burial Council of Leiscester now serving the Muslim population at time of bereival and death in close cooperation with the Leicester City Council.
He has been very active in establishing the Leicestershire Federation of Muslim Organisations (FMO). He is the spokesman of FMO, voicing this great community's concerns and views in an excellent fashion.
For his great services to the UK, Suleman Nagdi has been awarded an MBE and also serves as Her Majesty's Deputy Lieutenant in Leicestershire. He is a consultant to St. Philips Centre, a centre of Study and Engagement which has been of great importance both to the Leicester community, UK in general and indeed to many visitors coming from elsewhere in Europe.
